Mohammad Munir Ibrahim Haji, the founder of the group, arrived in the UAE in 1975 with very little. He possessed strong determination, and today, the MIH Group operates a large and well-organized system within the United Arab Emirates. In recognition of his contributions, the government of Pakistan awarded him a silver medal during the 1996 first convention of overseas Pakistanis, which was held in Islamabad under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Mohammad Munir Ibrahim Haji began working alongside his father at their printing press at a young age.
The oil boom in the early 1970s inspired him to seek better opportunities, leading him to the shores of the Arabian Gulf. Despite working long hours, ranging from fourteen to sixteen hours a day, and changing jobs often, he remained determined.

He had a vision to establish his own business in the UAE.
He even worked temporarily at an auto workshop as a printer. This challenging work helped him build the strength and skills needed to become his own boss. His opportunity soon arrived. In 1978, he launched his first business in steel fabrication in Al Ain. To meet the increasing demands of his growing enterprise, the family moved to the UAE in 1979, and his four sons joined him to help expand and strengthen the business. Now, his son, Munir Ibrahim Haji, manages the business and has expertise in various fields.

He is responsible for overseeing the growth of the business with a professional mindset.
The group is now known as the Munir Ibrahim Haji Group. This successful venture enabled him to lay a solid foundation for the group, which operates in trading businesses covering aluminum extrusion, glass, and hardware. The group has expanded its presence by opening outlets in other emirates of the UAE.
